About

I am a molecular biologist and protein biochemist with expertise in recombinant protein production, protein characterization, proteomics, and mass spectrometry. My research has focused on understanding protein function, stability, interactions, and quality-control mechanisms, particularly in bacterial and plant systems.

Over the years, I have developed strong experience in cloning, heterologous protein expression, purification, biochemical characterization, and the analysis of protein complexes. More recently, my work has increasingly incorporated advanced mass spectrometry approaches, including bottom-up proteomics, intact protein analysis, quantitative proteomics, and protein interaction studies.

I currently direct a mass spectrometry unit dedicated to supporting research projects across academia and industry. My technical interests include the integration of protein biochemistry with high-resolution mass spectrometry to address biological questions, characterize biotherapeutics, and develop robust analytical workflows.

A central part of my professional activity is also training and scientific collaboration. I am committed to helping researchers incorporate proteomics and mass spectrometry into their projects through experimental design, data interpretation, and hands-on technical support.
